Job Description Recommendations:

Qualifications:

  1. Background in Control Systems or Instrumentation; a degree or diploma in I&C, Electronics & Communications, Electronics & Electricals, or related fields is preferred.
  2. Design experience in control systems or software development on any control platform (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell), with a preference for experience on Mark VIe.
  3. Proficiency in interpreting control drawings, including Layout, Network Architecture, Functional Narratives, Cause & Effect diagrams, and Functional Logic Diagrams.
  4. Knowledge of panel-related drawings, such as Construction and Wiring diagrams.
  5. Basic understanding of logic development, including Ladder Logic and Functional Block Diagrams.
  6. Experience with turbomachinery (e.g., Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Combined Cycle systems, Generators) is desirable, either in the field or in engineering design.
  7. Awareness of network architecture and communication protocols like RS-485, TCP/IP, and Modbus.
  8. Panel testing experience in integrator shops or similar environments.
  9. Familiarity with hazardous area classifications.
  10. Safety Integrity Level (SIL) knowledge as per IEC 61508/61511 standards is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of over 70 engineering and technology professionals within Global Connect Solution (GCS), focusing on specific customer accounts.
  2. Take responsibility for deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs), including quality and on-time delivery.
  3. Drive and support ISO certification efforts for the division, pursuing continuous improvement opportunities.
  4. Conduct periodic reviews with customer stakeholders to update status, review KPIs, and maintain operational and quality standards.
  5. Evaluate workload capacity to accommodate additional customer orders and provide robust customer support.
  6. Collaborate with GCS Technical Leads to understand customer package scope, estimate budgets, and gain agreement from the customer.
  7. Work with GCS technical leads to implement and uphold quality and operational processes that enhance customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor employee engagement and workload to maintain a continuous 90%+ yield rate.
